School Visits
With A. B. Wade
Helping students discover the power of reading, storytelling, and their own imagination.
There’s nothing quite like the spark that lights up in a child’s eyes when a story comes to life.
As a children’s book author and dad, I love connecting with young readers and helping them see the magic of books—and the magic within themselves. During my school visits, I bring my stories to life with an interactive read-aloud, fun storytelling insights, and a peek behind the scenes of what it’s like to write and publish a book.
Whether we're giggling with Millie Lost Her Nose or cheering for Maudette Flew the Coop, students leave with a reminder that everyone has something special to share—and that stories can come from the most unexpected places (even a pig or a snail!).

“I would like to say it was an honor to have A.B. Wade to share and enlighten our students as part of our annual Read Across America week. Our second graders were so excited to meet a real Author. I loved Mr. Wade's presentation on how he started writing and what all it takes to become an author. His interaction with our second graders was awesome, and they were able to ask questions. We are looking forward to our next session with him.”
— Parent Liaison“A.B. Wade’s visit to our school. It was an incredible experience for both our students and staff. From the moment he began, he was engaging, informative, and truly inspiring. He captivated our students by walking them through his entire writing journey—from what first sparked his ideas all the way to seeing his book published.
His stories are fun, creative, and full of charm, and our students absolutely loved them. One of the highlights was how interactive his presentation was—students were excited to participate, ask questions, and learn fascinating facts about farm animals along the way. His slideshow kept everyone visually engaged, and his enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable.
Taking the time to sign books for students added a personal and meaningful touch that they will remember for a long time. It was clear that he genuinely enjoys connecting with kids and inspiring young readers and writers.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend inviting A.B. Wade to your campus.”
— Assistant Principal“A.B. Wade visited our campus and gave a wonderful presentation. It was very age appropriate and included pictures, stories, and vocabulary for students to understand what it means to be an author. His books are cute and he explained where the idea came from for each one. He also walked the kids through how a book is made and how long it takes from the first writing draft until you get the finished book.”

Mr. Wade did a great job interacting with students and keeping their attention throughout the presentation. The opportunity for students to ask questions was a highlight, and many were excited to make connections to reading and writing in their own classrooms.
The visit was well organized, and communication leading up to the event was clear and helpful, which made the day run smoothly for our staff and students.

— Principal“Thank you so much for visiting our school. They truly enjoyed listening to the background of each story's creation. You know you made an impression on the children when you received a lunchtime standing ovation. Tearing the kids from their nuggets is a huge deal. Your down-to-earth encouraging words made the students think they could be writers too. Being a former educator, I can tell you the kids were dialed into your books. I am so glad to see you casually wrangle the young minds into reading and writing. You were awesome! I am recommending you to my friends still in education. Keep up the great work!”
— Educator“A.B. Wade visited our school. He did a fabulous job with his presentation, explaining the process of authoring and publishing a book. The kids loved his farm animal series! I loved hearing the kids even a few weeks after the visit exclaim their excitement about meeting a real author!! Thank you A.B. Wade for capturing the kids attention and making the author visit a pleasant experience!”
