Shipping Update:
I've been diving headfirst into the e-commerce side of authorship — and wow, it’s been a learning curve! But it’s also been amazing watching Millie and Maudette fly off to new homes all over the country.
Thank you for inviting my imaginary friends into your lives. It makes us all just a little crazy... but hey, who isn’t?
Maudette Flew to #1 — Literally:
This past week, Maudette Flew the Coop hit the #1 spot on Amazon in three categories:
Farm Animal Books
Books on Bullying
Self-Esteem Books for Kids
She even earned the coveted Top New Release banner. Maudette may not fly, but she soared right to the top of the charts — and she’s beyond grateful.
Heart-Melting Library Moment:
My aunt recently told me that she was at the public library when she overheard a little boy begging his mom to check out a book. She glanced over — and it was Millie Lost Her Nose!
I had no idea Millie was in that library... and even more amazing? A kid wanted it badly enough to plead with his mom. That moment will stay with me forever.
Schulenburg Festival / August 1–3:
I’ll be at the Schulenburg Festival this weekend selling signed hardcover copies of Millie and Maudette. This will be my first market event that isn’t tailored to authors — and I’m so pumped!
